WHAT IS THE MINIMUM NUMBER OF NIGHTS REQUIRED? 
 Our Manhattan suites have a 3-night minimum stay requirement.  Some of our Manhattan suites have a 30-day minimum, please inquire. Brooklyn suites prefer 3-night minimum stay, but exceptions can be made. 

ARE SUITES NON-SMOKING? All of our suites are non-smoking. 

WHAT ARE THE ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE TIMES?
Check-in is at 3pm and check-out is at 11am.  You will be greeted in the apartment by one of our staff who will do walk through the apartment with you and help you become familiar with the apartment.

WHAT ABOUT LATE CHECK-OUTS?

Our normal check out time is 11:00 am.  Please contact guest services at least 24 hours prior to departure  should you require a late check out.  If the room is free we will try to accommodate your needs, but please note there will be at an additional charge.

ARE PETS ALLOWED?
Please let us know if you have a pet you desire to bring; we will address  your request on a case-by-case basis.  If guests bring pets without notification, there will be  a penalty charge of up to $500. 

WHAT IS THE TAX RATE?
 
The New York City tax (for Brooklyn and Manhattan Suites) is as follows: For stays under 6 nights and less, tax is additional and is comprised of 14.25% sales tax plus $3.50 per night occupancy tax. For stays of 7 nights or more tax is additional and comprised of 5.875% sales tax and $3.50 per night occupancy tax.

IS THERE A DISCOUNT FOR LONGER STAYS?

We offer discounts for stays of 7 nights or longer. Please inquire for more details.

IS HOUSEKEEPING INCLUDED AS PART OF MY STAY?
We do not provide daily housekeeping. There is an exit cleaning fee of $150 in which your suite will be cleaned upon your arrival and cleaned again when you depart. If you would like additional housekeeping services, there will be an extra charge per cleaning. 

HOW MUCH IS THE COST FOR INTERNET IN THE SUITES?
There is no charge for internet use in our suites. All of our suites have high-speed internet access.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
For Manhattan, the total amount of the reservation minus a $90 cancellation fee is reimbursed if the cancellation has been communicated to Herrick Guest Suites in writing more than 30 days prior to the arrival date.  With 15-30 days notice the deposit will be forfeited.  With 1-14 days notice, the total amount will be forfeited.

DO YOU HAVE CRIBS?
Please notify us in advance if you require a crib so that we can make arrangements to place one in your suite.  Please note that we provide travel cribs, not full sized cribs.

WHAT TYPES OF AMENITIES ARE AVAILABLE DURING MY STAY?
Our apartments are fully equipped to meet all your kitchen needs.  For your convenience  we provide a hair dryer, C.O. Bigelow amenities, a starter supply of eco-friendly Seventh Generation paper products  and  Mrs. Meyer's cleaning supplies. 

IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE IN EACH SUITE?
Parking is available near each suite. Please contact our concierge for further details.

CAN I THROW A PARTY IN THE SUITE?
Your suite is a private, residential apartment. It is strictly against our policy and the policy of the building owners for guests to create excessive noise, throw a party of more than 8 guests, or conduct any professional business that produces noticeable traffic. If you are considering such activity please check with us first. There may be an acceptable way to help you accomplish your goals. If you ignore these rules you will be asked to leave the suite. No refund will be given, and you may be fined up to $5,000.00. 

IS THERE ROOM SERVICE? Since we operate private suites in residential buildings, we do not provide room service.  However, we do have a wonderful concierge service that offers any services you may need, including grocery delivery and restaurant recommendations.
